$35.00

This 1971, 8¢ Dwight D. Eisenhower Claret stamp belongs to the "Prominent Americans Series," which was issued by the U.S. Post Office Department between 1965 and 1978 to replace the earlier Liberty Issue. This 8-cent denomination was specifically released to meet the new first-class domestic letter rate that went into effect in May 1971. This is a genuine example of the 1971 booklet pane single. While the standard sheet stamp (Scott #1394) was printed in multi-color, this monochromatic claret version was designed specifically for booklets and coils. Whether you're a stamp enthusiast, a history buff, or simply looking for a unique piece of American memorabilia, this Eisenhower stamp is a wonderful addition to any collection. Add this iconic piece of American history to your collection today!
